Meet Robert

I am excited to announce that I am running for Catholic School Trustee for Ward 1.In 2022, I came within one vote of being elected. This time, I'm asking Ward 1 families to help us build on the progress we've made together.

For nearly three decades, I have built my career as a realtor and small business owner, while dedicating my personal time to Catholic youth leadership and service. As the Provincial State Director of the Ontario Squires Program, a Catholic Youth Leadership Program, I had the privilege of leading and supporting hundreds of young people connected to the Catholic school system. I am also a member of the Knights of Columbus.These experiences have given me a strong foundation in leadership, business, community service and Catholic values—and I am ready to put that experience to work for the students and families of Ward 1.

  • Be accessible, accountable and responsive to our community.

  • Fight for the needs of Ward 1 schools and families.

  • Strengthen anti-bullying programs and interventions and ensure parents and guardians have a clear voice when concerns arise.

1. STUDENTS FIRST — Stronger Academics

  • Advocate for smaller class sizes and additional "in-school" supports for students who are falling behind.

  • Push for stronger results in reading, writing and mathematics.

  • Make sure parents and guardians can clearly see how their schools are performing and what is being done to improve.

2. SAFER, HEALTHIER SCHOOLS

  • Make student mental health and school safety a priority.

  • Push for timely access to social workers and other support.

  • Advocate for shorter wait times for student assessments.

Make sure you are registered to vote for Catholic School Trustee.Your vote matters — but you need to make sure your information is correct before election day.In the 2022 election, I came within one vote of winning. We cannot afford to have eligible Catholic voters miss the opportunity to have their voice heard.

1. Check Your Voter RegistrationUse Toronto’s MyVote to confirm, add or update your voters’ list information. Online updates are available until October 11, 2026 at 7 p.m.You can also add your name at your voting place during advance voting or on election day. Bring acceptable identification showing your name and qualifying Toronto address. A voter information card is helpful but is not required and does not replace identification.Official voters’ list information

Check Your School SupportFor the Toronto Catholic District School Board election, eligible voters must be Roman Catholic and English-language separate school board supporters, or the Roman Catholic spouse of such a supporter. General school board voting eligibility also applies.Check your school support and trustee ward through MyVote.   • VOTE BY MAIL

    Request a package through MyVote by Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.

    Toronto Elections must receive your completed package by Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at noon (12 p.m.). Mailing it by that date is not sufficient.

    Return it using the prepaid envelope or a secure Toronto Elections yellow drop box. Drop boxes are available October 1–14, until noon on October 14.
